I think that the host was horrible. I couldn’t figure out why he was asked to do it???!!! I also felt that this was all about Britney, too. Don’t get me wrong, I am rooting for her but she did not deserve any of those awards.

But, I thought that the best performance was from Kanye West. It was superb.

They give awards to “artists” that have absolutely no talent and promote more of the same garbage music that our country has become infected with. It’s likely that the people you mentioned weren’t there because they’re all terrible, minus Jay-Z and Snoop who I actually respect as being fairly talented.

I think this is a sign that MTV and the RIAA are not getting away with their **** music like they used to, and hopefully it’s coming to the end of the road, and we can go back to the 20th century when music was awarded for being good, not for being accessible.

I would love to see MTV play more music videos, too, but not of the music they would play. I want to see good music. If they played hours of trash like Katy Perry, Lil Wayne, whatever other crap they’re busy trying to make famous right now, I would watch it as little as I do now, which is never. Unfortunately, their lineup is even worse than that, being infested with disgusting shows full of the worst human beings I’ve ever seen in my life, and people glue their eyes to it and vie to be like the “stars”. It’s sickening. I freaking **** MTV.
